WHAT: Russian-born Xenia Prokhorova will unveil nine pieces of her new collection, The Supreme Creation, which exemplifies her artistic presentation of esthetic interests. She utilizes a myriad of mediums in her creative work, but portrait, as a genre, has special meaning for her. Her paintings of human characters are distinctly unique. The dialectic nature of existence, individuality, the quest for intimacy, and the revelation of the human character are essential themes in her art.
